About this Course:
'The course will focus on the use of educational digital photography as a useful tool for research and exploration, recording, presentation and writing, and for use in all areas across the curriculum. So the practical workshops will include 2 field trips to Ross Beach, (2 different am's) to explore the environment and digitally record some segments, for further study back at Hedge School. Inhouse workshops also include a number of visual arts projects, including recycling materials art projects, with a focus on developing some maths around the projects and step by step digital recording. There will be brainstorming and open discussion surrounding the usages and best practices of using educational digital image, development of a school specific digital library/digital folders, teacher/pupil driven whole school audits of digital image usage and a morning spent on genre writing with author Patricia Byrne .place and local lore..a path into writing one's story, ancestors, place, community.'
