NEPS INCREDIBLE YEARS PROGRAMME 2019-2020

Teachers attend 6 full-day workshops spaced approximately one month apart. The programme follows a collaborative model of training that makes extensive use of teacher discussion, role play, viewing vignettes of teachers in real classrooms and developing behaviour plans for individual children. Between sessions, teachers are expected to practice the new skills and concepts in their own classrooms, reflect on and share experiences at the next session, further develop and implement their behaviour plans for individual children and complete assigned reading from the text ‘Incredible Teachers’. Throughout the programme, teachers are supported to set and monitor goals for themselves, as well as for the children they teach, and to help each other to achieve their goals.
How to apply
Each teacher must apply by Application Form.  CLICK HERE to apply online or complete the attached Application Form.
Closing date for Application is Wednesday, 11th of September 2019.

REPRESENTATION OF EACH SCHOOL IN COUNTY CLARE FOR DISPLAY in CLARE EDUCATION CENTRE
At Clare Education Centre, we would love to have some form of representation of each school in the county on display around the Centre.  This representation could be in the form of a photograph of the school, the school crest, some art from the school, a collage of school activities etc.  If the representations were A3 size, we would have them framed and hung on the walls here at the Centre.  Hopefully, this would add to the sense of welcome teachers get when they attend the Education Centre and also reflect the schools served.  Please post your representations to the Centre or drop them in, and we will arrange for framing.
