These two bilingual webinars will look at fun and practical oral language games that children can do at home with their family, and ways that they can interact with their Cairde Comhrá or friends through Irish. The course offers an understanding of dyslexia, the characteristics inherent in this specific learning difficulty and guidance on how to support children in classrooms. Roisin brings her experience as a student with dyslexia and will address what worked for her in primary school and traces the support all the way up to current day. This gives specific and personal insights into techniques and learning strategies that supported her on her educational journey. Participants will be equipped with approaches for effective inclusive provision in mainstream and special settings.
