CoderZ Sprint Challenge Coding Competition Update 1

Primary school teams from Clare, Monaghan, Navan and Tralee Education Centres are busily completing the CoderZ Coding Challenges. The competition format allows for team members to work on challenges in their own time and for the team scores to be collated.  The challenges are intriguing with higher points being eared for completing the challenges with greater efficiency.  Promoting communication, collaboration, problem solving and mathematical skills, the challenges are hugely educational and appealing with a little bit of competition for good measure.

RoboMania are best-placed in the overall Missions Leaderboard (9th place), followed closely by GirlPower (12th place) and Wall-E (13th place). Cromane Coders (Tralee Ed Centre), Laochra Loch Gorman (ESCI General), Na Captioners (Navan Education Centre) & Carlingford Knights (Monaghan education Centre) are heading up their respective regions.

Clare Education Centre teams are also to the forefront of the additional RoboGolf and DiscoBlocks Challenges which were released on the 15th March -  RoboMania (6th place) and WolfPack (4th place) respectively.

Missions and Challenges run until March 31st, so plenty of time for pupils to get started or consolidate Team positions.
