How can we connect communities across County Clare using poetry, sport, art and music?

The Here Comes the Sun Project is a Keep Well Initiative broken into two parts:

Part 1 paints a bleak picture of the realities faced by people during lockdown ???

Part 2 celebrates communities across County Clare, fills us with hope and instils pride in our county ☀️?☀️

The project was a resounding success with people from every corner of the county contributing video clips, poetry and short stories.

Music plays a central role in this project which features musical performances from:
- Craig Pete from Shannon 🎹 🎶 🎹
- The Farrell Family in New Quay 🎻 🎼 🎻
- Conor McEnery from Ennis 🎸 🎙️ 🎸

In conjunction with the Clare Education Centre, Clare Sports Partnership, Clare Age Friendly Programme and the Clare County Council, the Here Comes the Sun Committee invited primary and secondary school students across Clare to be part of this exciting new initiative.

Thanks to all the participants and May the sun shine brightly on you and your people! 🌅☀️🌅
