Clare Museum - National Drawing Day Art Competition

National Drawing Day Art Competition – Clare Museum

National Drawing Day, an initiative of the National Gallery of Ireland, is an annual celebration of drawing and creativity. It is co-hosted by dozens of partner venues around the island of Ireland and, this year, Clare Museum is delighted to be taking part. National Drawing Day is for everyone; people of all ages and all abilities are encouraged to pick up their pencils on Saturday 18th May and get creative and we want YOU to join in.

Whether you are an aspiring artist, or just love to draw, we want you to share your creations with us. Using the Frederic William Burton portraits from our collection as inspiration (Sir Frederic William Burton — Collection — Clare Museum), we would like you to send us your own portrait. It can be your version of Burton's drawings, a portrait of a friend or family member or even a self-portrait.
