STEAM Meet 2020

STEAM Meet 2020

STEAM Meet 2020

Venue:          Clare Education Centre
Date:             Wednesday, 4th March 2020
Time:             7pm to 9pm

In conjunction with our Erasmus+ project on STEAM, we are looking for volunteers to share good practice at a Teach Meet on the theme of STEAM  - a STEAM Meet!  The aim of this session is to showcase successful initiatives in your schools.

This STEAM Meet will take place on Wednesday, March 4th at Clare Education Centre from 7pm – 9pm.

The guidelines for the STEAM Meet are as follows:

  • Presentations are for a maximum of 5 minutes
  • They should have a maximum of three slides
  • There will be an opportunity for two or three minutes Q and A
  • Presentations will be placed on the STEAMing website after the event

(We are requesting that handouts are not used as part of the presentation)

We look forward to meeting, chatting, listening, exchanging with one another as teachers continue to engage with STEAM teaching and learning activities.
A Teach Meet in particular offers participants an opportunity to share an approach/a resource/an idea/ a STEAM project etc which puts a smile on pupils’ faces and works well in the classroom or in the school.  The nice thing is the sharing only lasts five minutes - blink of an eye - but can offer others something useful for the rest of the year and beyond.
So.........please consider sharing at STEAM Meet 2020 and take the plunge. The audience will be a very friendly lot!
