Bio of Presenter: Sarah Cronin
Sarah Cronin is a dedicated educator with a wealth of experience in teaching French and EAL across various educational settings. With a background as Head of French and EAL, and extensive involvement in curriculum coordination, including roles such as Junior Cycle Coordinator for French under the new Junior Cycle, Sarah brings a deep understanding of language education. Her passion for inclusion and innovative teaching methods led her to present at the Languages Connect Summit 2023 in Dublin on fostering inclusivity in the MFL classroom. Currently serving as an Associate with Post Primary Languages Ireland, as well as teaching full time, Sarah's commitment to student and teacher development extends beyond the classroom. She has contributed to teacher training as a School Placement Tutor for the University of Limerick and serves as a French examiner for the State Examinations. With international experience teaching in London, Dubai, and Angers, France, Sarah embraces diversity and champions Universal Design for Learning principles to ensure all learners thrive. Beyond education, Sarah is an advocate for sport, a healthy lifestyle, and personal development, as well as an avid animal lover.
