Webinar 1: This webinar will discuss modern ethical dilemmas and controversial issues in Ireland today. It will look at our own context and how things differ so much depending on your country taking Northern Ireland as our primary difference even though it’s the same island.
Webinar 2: Homelessness, poverty and those who are disadvantaged in a variety of world contexts, project ideas, class initiatives, local community involvement ideas.
Webinar 3: New Religious Movements, not cults, which exist in the world today. Looking at these beliefs and systems as a way of making students aware of faiths outside of the conventional ones to make them aware and tolerant.

Bio of Presenter: My name is Gary Creaton and I have been a teacher of both English and Religious Education for the past seven years. I have taught in a variety of school environments in both Kildare and across the west of Ireland. I am currently a teacher of English and Religious Education in St. Nathy’s College, Ballaghaderreen. I have had an abundance of opportunities to engage with a variety of topics and methodologies in both exam and non-exam religion and hope to share some of the ideas that have worked best for me over the past few years.
