• Understand the pedagogical benefits of regularly incorporating past exam questions-such as improved familiarity with exam structure, enhanced time management and deeper conceptual clarity in classroom planning.
• Plan a balanced scheme of work at alternated textbook-based learning with targeted exam-style practice, ensuring constructive alignment between teaching, learning activities and summative assessment.
• Design and deploy formative assessment styles using past paper questions with built in self- marking and reflection components to support students self- awareness and strategic improvement.
• Evaluate and refine your approach by analysing student performance trends on past papers, identifying common misconceptions and targeting follow-up teaching for maximum impact.
