Restorative Practices - Shame - a “Teacher” or a “Trap” (EY) (P) (PP) (SNA)
DATE: Tuesday, 30th September 2025
TIME: 7pm to 8pm
VENUE: Online via Zoom
Target Audience: Primary & Post Primary Special Needs Assistants and Early Years Educators
In the ninth of their 12 part series Jenn and Joe explore the fascinating topic of
shame. No understanding of RP is complete without an awareness of this core emotion that actually serves a key evolutionary purpose (we do of course recognise that shame has been used for great ill too). This webinar looks at the role of shame, how and where it can show up and, most importantly, how to deal with it when it does show up - both in us and in others.
Each session in the series offers valuable insights, tips, strategies and resources in a separate aspect of RP, allowing you to navigate the various complexities with confidence - one step at a time.
