Enticing EAL families into the School Setting
DATE: Wednesday, 9th April 2025
TIME: 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm
VENUE: Online Via Zoom
Target Audience: SNAs, Primary Teachers, Post Primary Teachers
It can be difficult for families to engage with a school when they don’t share the language of schooling. There is a limit to the communication, and this will have an impact on learners’ attitudes to learning English and Irish. So how can we as educators make our schools accessible to all families?
In this webinar we will look at a few local and international case studies, followed with practical examples that schools can try out.
There will be time for questions and answers for specific questions.
Presenter - Kirsten Barrett
