Online Zoom Meeting - Harnessing the Potential of Success Criteria in the Junior Cycle Classroom

During this course participants will learn how success criteria can be made to work for both teachers and students in the junior cycle classroom. Participants will be introduced to strategies for creating success criteria. Participants will not only learn how to incorporate success criteria into their own formative assessment strategies but how success criteria can facilitate student peer-assessment, student self-assessment. Finally participants will be introduced to formative assessment as a means of monitoring students’ progress.
Facilitator - Con Hurley
Con Hurley is a teacher with 20 years classroom experience. During that time he has led teaching and learning in a number of different capacities. He currently teaches in Clonakilty Community College
