Webinar - Designing and Using Classroom Tasks to Promote Student Thinking
DATE: Wednesday, 6 October 2021
TIME: 4.30pm to 5.30pm
VIA ZOOM
Whenever a teacher designs a learning task, there are a range of things that learners need to be doing in order to maximise the opportunity for learning. In this workshop you will be introduced to a series of frameworks that will get you thinking more about the tasks you design and as a result create more opportunities for student thinking in lessons. Each framework will be supported with a series of practical examples so that you leave with a full understanding of how each framework can be applied to your respective subject(s).
Facilitator - Con Hurley
Con Hurley is a teacher with 20 years classroom experience. During that time he has led teaching and learning in a number of different capacities. He currently teaches in Clonakilty Community College.
