DATE: Monday, 20 March 2023 TIME: 7pm - 8pm VENUE: Online Via Zoom
Target Audience : Post primary mathematics teachers
This webinar will focus on the use of PhET Simulations in the mathematics classroom to bring maths to life! Visual manipulatives provide students with an opportunity to experiment and play with mathematical concepts in ways we previously could only dream of in the maths classroom. Simulations provide students with instantaneous feedback, allowing them to work through the problem solving cycle in real-time. This introductory webinar will provide an overview of the simulations and resources available on PhET as well as an overview of how it can be used to engage students in both low-tech and high-tech environments.
