Earth and Space comprises a large proportion of the new junior cycle science syllabus. Many teachers, myself included find it difficult to comprehend the content that needs to be covered, while incorporating active teaching and learning methodologies and linking it with the nature of science and other strands on the syllabus. This webinar is suitable for all junior cycle science teachers. You will come away with practical ideas and resources for teaching the Earth and Space strand.
Naomi Pierce
Naomi is a teacher of science, biology and chemistry in Avondale Community College in Co. Wicklow. She is a placement tutor for DCU and is currently studying a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning in SETU. Naomi has experience teaching in both a private and DEIS school setting.
