Ireland. Sign up for this hands-on face to face course to do simple climate experiments and learn how to set up creative STEAM challenges for your pupils. Participants will receive a free resource pack containing 6 structured lesson plans.

The three sessions which are aimed at teachers from 1st to 6th class will take place in Clare Education Centre from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm on Thursdays, January 18th, January 25th, and February 1st, 2024. The sessions will demonstrate how to use a STEAM approach in an exciting step-by-step format enabling pupils to understand the science of climate change and challenge pupils to come up with creative solutions integrating ART, Science and Maths learning. The course develops problem solving, investigative, imaginative and creative skills in pupils. The course fosters resilience and collaborative skills as pupils work in pairs to create their very own Green House of the future,  vehicle of the future and wind and water turbine. Groups will combine their creations to construct a zero carbon sustainable town of the future. By engaging in these workshops, teachers will gain invaluable experience of teaching using a thematic STEAM with the support of Evelyn.
