We are delighted to welcome Fiodhna Gardiner-Hyland to deliver this course. Fiodhna is a lecturer in language and literacy education at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, Ireland. Recently she contributed to writing the online interactive English Programme 'Starlight' with Folens Publishers and currently co-ordinates the TEAL Project, Limerick, a philanthropic-funded Mary Immaculate College EAL Project in collaboration with the ‘Oscailt’ schools network in Limerick city.

Fiodhna Gardiner-Hyland is a lecturer in language and literacy education at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, Ireland. With a PhD in Teacher Education Pedagogy for ESL Literacy Teaching, Fíodhna received the inaugural Sheikh Nahayan doctoral fellowship award in association with The International Research Foundation (TIRF), California, U.S.A. As a former chair of TESOL Arabia young learner's SIG across the Middle East, Fíodhna has worked internationally and in Ireland, with experience of teaching through Irish as a second language, co-ordinating language and literacy in international schools and lecturing and consulting with international bodies such as the World Learning Organization; Oxford University Press and British Council. Recently she contributed to writing the online interactive English Programme 'Starlight' with Folens Publishers and currently co-ordinates the TEAL Project, Limerick, a philanthropic-funded Mary Immaculate College EAL Project in collaboration with the ‘Oscailt’ schools network in Limerick city.
