This initial course on Jan 31st is aimed at school leaders/those with posts of responsibility.
‘My Learner Identity’/’Mise Mar Fhoghlaimeoir’ is a new programme designed for learners from preschool through to sixth class to nurture the ‘Who’ and ‘How’ of learning. ‘My Learner ID’ is a unique, creative and absolutely timely resource for education nationally and internationally. The series supports children to become and be learners, on articulating perspectives of themselves as learners and their worldview, their experiences of school and on the educative process. The series provides a coherent developmental framework to nurture learner voice and learner responsibility across the school years. It supports School Self Evaluation, Learner Well Being and advances new understandings of Assessment.
School Leaders and those with posts of responsibility in schools for Assessment are invited to attend the first introductory session on: ‘My Learner ID’. This CPD event will present an overview of ‘My Learner ID/Mise Mar Fhoghlaimeoir, for use with third, fourth, fifth and sixth classes. Advanced registration is required and course cost includes a Teacher Starter Set for a selected class level. Two further sessions will be offered to support class teachers to implement the programme.
