SNA Training in parallel with JCT
In tandem with the Junior Cycle for Teachers CPD and in collaboration with the Clare Education Centre, MindSETs Training is offering schools an opportunity to access SNA Training in the area of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) skills. This training will focus on the social and emotional drivers of behaviour and explore some strategies to develop the skills of emotional self-regulation along with fostering positive attitudes to learning.

Knowledge is power and understanding the neuroscience of emotion is the first step towards learning how to manage some of the more challenging emotions that impact a young person’s ability to learn effectively.

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programmes help both adults and young people to grow the skills of empathy, compassion, kindness, gratitude, optimism and resilience which help to improve their relationships and their ability to make better decisions and choices at school and in life in general.

MindSETs training was established in 2016 by Steve Lane and Breda Kyne to meet the growing demand for Social and Emotional Learning programmes in Ireland. With over 35 years of experience in the Irish education sector and a passion to see SEL programmes reach Irish children at all stages of their education we offer a range of programmes designed to meet your school’s specific needs.
