Raised on Songs and Stories Project
Funded by the Heritage Council, the Raised on Songs & Stories Project is designed to rekindle interest in a traditional song that holds historical significance within your local community.
Through research and creative engagement, students and teachers will explore the story behind the song, deepening their connection to the past and strengthening a shared sense of identity within the school community. Each participating school will receive support in the form of three full-day workshops led by Heritage Council expert Martin Curley.
An essential part of the project involves documenting the findings in a digital format, ensuring they remain accessible to the wider school community for years to come.
