This webinar will focus understanding the importance of self-regulation and its role in providing the emotional foundation needed to effectively support others. Co-regulation involves creating an emotionally safe environment for young people. Teachers play a vital role in supporting the emotional well-being and development of their students, and understanding emotional regulation is essential for creating a positive, supportive classroom environment for all.

- Develop knowledge about the window of tolerance and to reduce emotional reactivity.
- Enhance knowledge of mental fitness and emotional first aid
- Explore how to model healthy emotional responses in classroom settings

Dr Clara is a Chartered Psychologist with expertise in Education and Disability and is a certified ADHD Parent Coach. A former NCSE advisor (Behaviour & Wellbeing) and special school teacher, she runs a private practice in West Cork. Dr Clara’s extensive training has focused on neuro-affirming practices, coaching psychology, brain/body connection, stress management and disability advocacy.
