Webinar 4: Inclusion, Social Connection, and Peer Interaction
Understanding and supporting autistic play and friendship. What does authentic social connection look like for autistic children? This webinar dives into autistic social styles, the importance of parallel play, and how shared interests can spark meaningful peer relationships—without forced interaction or pressure to “fit in.”
It features real life experiences from autistic teenagers, adults and parents of autistic children.
Led by Senior Speech and Language Therapist, Amy Collins (@amysclt), this session equips educators with strategies to foster inclusive classrooms where every child’s way of connecting is respected and supported.
